PRIMITIVE ROAD

Also called Camino del Norte-Interior, the Primitive path was the most important in the early Jacobean worship. But it lost its royal favor for political reasons, linked to the historical process of the Reconquest. The first Camino known, which took Alfonso II from Oviedo to the "Campus Stellae" in the ninth century to visit the newly discovered tomb of St. James.
